About The Good Life The Good Life is a network of wellness centers that support healthy aging by offering a wide-range of FREE online classes. They are dedicated to reversing the growing public health crisis of cognitive impairment and dementia now affecting economically disadvantaged older adults. To ensure The Good Life can be achieved by everyone, all of their classes are held virtually (using Zoom), open to everyone to come, and always free of charge. Because The Good Life knows that social support is also vital to our health, we host the It Takes a Village as our in-person health program where our members of our digital community (at least as many as can come) and celebrate our health and wellness in fellowship with other TGL members and the Oakland community at large. This free program for adults and seniors is brought to you by UC Davis Health and The City of Oakland Parks and Recreation, sponsored by the California Department of Public Health.
